Application
Primarily used for overhead service applications such as street lighting, outdoor lighting, and temporary service for construction. To be used at voltages of 0.6/1kV and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 90°C for cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated conductors.
DESCRIPTION
The cable consists of phase conductor, neutral conductor and street light cores . The phase conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. Insulated with either polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE). Neutral messengers are XLPE insulated AAAC 6201 conductor. And there is also one or two street light cores in the cables.
STANDARDS

FAQ
An ABC cable is an insulated overhead power distribution cable where multiple conductors are bundled together and supported by a messenger wire. It reduces power theft, improves safety, and enhances reliability in urban and rural electrical networks.
Urban and rural electricity distribution
Industrial power supply lines
Service drops for residential and commercial buildings
ABC cables come in Low Voltage (0.6/1 kV) for residential/commercial use and Medium Voltage (6–35 kV) for industrial and long-distance overhead lines.
Consider voltage class (LV or MV), conductor size, insulation thickness, messenger type, environmental conditions, and span length
ABC cables undergo mechanical strength tests, insulation resistance checks, flame-retardant tests, UV/weathering resistance assessments, and electrical performance evaluations.
