  • Watertight Bedding – Semi-conducting water swellable tape 
  • Metal screen – Copper wire 
  • Metal sheath(screen) – Weld corrugated aluminum sheath coated asphalt
  • Watertight Bedding – Semi-conducting water swellable tape
  • Radial direction watertight layer – Aluminum plastic composite tape
  • Outer sheath – High density polyethylene (HDPE) coated graphite
  • – Polyvinyl chloride compound (PVC) coated graphite

  • Note:1. Below 800 square is a circular compact conductor

What standards should be followed?

The cable standard is IEC 60840 (can also be customized as needed), the conductor standard is IEC 60228.

Can cables be directly buried and laid? Why?

Yes, because the cables are designed and manufactured to meet the applications of primary underground distribution suitable for use in wet or dry location, direct burial, underground duct, and exposed to sunlight.

What is the structure of the cable from inside to outside?

Which voltages do you have?

There are 36/66kV,64/110kV,76/132kV,87/150kV&127/220kV.We can do the voltage up to 500kV.


Why does this matter?

Even though system voltage and Um are the same, cables are not interchangeable. Earthing and fault duration dictate insulation requirements.


What are the consequences of incorrect selection?

Insulation failure, reduced cable life, partial discharge damage, catastrophic failure during faults.
