Project Overview

The Yangjiang Fanshi I Offshore Wind Farm, developed by China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), is a key part of China’s push toward renewable energy and carbon neutrality. Located in the South China Sea, off the coast of Guangdong Province, the wind farm has a planned capacity of over 400 MW, generating clean electricity for hundreds of thousands of households annually. Operating in a marine environment presents unique challenges, requiring reliable, durable, and corrosion-resistant electrical systems to ensure long-term performance and safety.

Customized R&D & Testing​
Before supply, QiFan conducted targeted R&D based on the project’s marine environment parameters (water depth, temperature, salinity) and collaborated with third-party testing institutions to perform 10+ strict tests.All products passed the tests with performance exceeding national standards (GB/T 13849.1-2022) and international IEC standards.​
Efficient Delivery & Installation Support​
On-Time Supply: Leveraging QiFan’s intelligent manufacturing base,we completed the production and delivery of 60 millions dollars cables within 3 months, ensuring the project’s construction schedule.​
Technical Service: Sent a professional technical team to the site to provide guidance on cable laying, joint installation, and insulation testing, solving on-site problems in real time and ensuring a 100% one-time installation success rate.​
Project Outcomes​
The project was officially completed and put into operation in 2024. As of the latest operation data:QiFan’s submarine cables have maintained stable operation with zero faults, ensuring the wind farm’s annual power generation target is met.​
