Project Overview
The Yangjiang Fanshi I Offshore Wind Farm, developed by China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN), is a key part of China’s push toward renewable energy and carbon neutrality. Located in the South China Sea, off the coast of Guangdong Province, the wind farm has a planned capacity of over 400 MW, generating clean electricity for hundreds of thousands of households annually. Operating in a marine environment presents unique challenges, requiring reliable, durable, and corrosion-resistant electrical systems to ensure long-term performance and safety.

Shanghai QiFan Cable Co., Ltd. was selected as a trusted supplier of submarine power cables for the project. Our responsibility was to provide customized cable solutions that could withstand harsh offshore conditions and deliver consistent performance over the project’s expected 25+ year lifespan.
